Simple Bocce Ball Court Rules Of Bocce

  Both teams have to agree on the rules and regulations to ensure fair play and a smooth game. First of all, the defender throws the pallino into the court at the beginning of every round and the challenger then throws their bocce balls. Each team player takes turns throwing their bocce balls alternatively after the pallino is thrown onto the court. The thrower needs to release the bocce balls within the designated circle. The throwing circle is a 2.4-meter radius circle around the pallino. Players are not allowed to throw the ball too harshly or use any sort of deceptive tactics as bocce ball is a fair game of skills and sportsmanship.  When a team’s ball lands closer to the pallino than the nearest ball of the opponents, they are given another throw and this is called a ‘re-throw’ or ‘tie-breaker’.
